Changing gynaecologist at 7 months
I'm 7 months pregnant and seeing a reputed doctor in kims hospital trivandrum. She is a good doctor . But I came to know that she is not attending deliveries since she is very busy so other doctors will attend. So I plan to change my doctor in the same hospital from the next check up who attends delivery. But I don't know what the procedure is. Will my first doctor feel bad if I change the doctor ? . Whether I need to inform her or shall I take an appointment to the new doctor directly? Will the new doctor understand my concern ? ... As both doctors are in the same hospital I'm confused . Also I'm 30 weeks pregnant now , is it a good time to change doctors?

If you are so keen on changing your Doctor then you better change the Hospital too. How do you know that the next Doctor whom you consult will come for your delivery? He may also depute his junior Doctor . The only way to ensure that YOUR Doctor comes to attend YOUR delivery is to go to a Private Hospital where only one or two Gynaecologist doctors work.
