I've been taking "amlovas 10mg" for past 19 years for BP
I noticed continuous swelling around ankle and foot area
Consulted a doctor, who immediately prescribed me with "TELMIBET 40" saying amlovas is old due to which kidneys have been effected leading to sweeling around ankle.
Should i actually change the medicine or continue with amlovas 10mg or reduce its mg count
Any form of help will be appreciated
Thank you

Although I am a physio, I cannot directly suggest I would like to share my opinion ....
swelling over ur feet is one of the causes of kidney malfunctioning....u can go with further investigation for the same..
Just check your serum uric acid levels, and you can continue taking your regular medications itself, reduce your salt intake in your diet, and go for low protein diet, and check your serum albumin, creatinine levels too . Check your BP , and maintain a chart.
Next Steps
Do some simple breathing exercises and meditation for 20 mns on a daily basis
