Chance of STI
Hi, While having intercourse with a person whose sexual health was unknown, the condom I used broke. I immediately pulled out and replaced it with a new one. After we were done I washed myself with water (no soap) as well. What are the chances of contracting an STI if my partner was infected? What tests do I need to take? It has been 7 days since the incidents. Hope to get a response soon. Getting very worried.

Hi there I understand your concern.... Chances are there....one should be examined clinically with detailed history... You may require investigations like urine routine, urethral swab and microscopic examination...I would suggest you to consult nearest dermatologist they will do the needful.
