Cervix 2.8cm at 13 weeks NT scan
Hi, I am 13 weeks pregnant and at my NT scan my cervix continued to measure at 2.8 cm (It has been 2.8 cm at 7, 8 and 10 weeks scan as well) These ultrasounds we're all done trans abdominally. I have a earlier history of missed miscarriage at 6 weeks, the baby then had a trisomy 2 chromosomal abnormality and we had to do a D&C section. My OBGYN said that my cervix is definitely on the shorter side but I should not worry yet and she may go for a cerclage at my 17 weeks anatomy scan if it reduces below 2.5 cm My question is: Should I undergo for dynamic TVS cervix scans to monitor cervix length or only bother about it at the anatomy scan? I am doing light activities, no exercises and have no other complaints, is there anything more I can do to manage a short cervix? What are the warning signs I should be aware of?
