Cervical spine injury
My father met with a motor vehicle accident...had cervical spine injury.. subluxation of left C5 C6 facet joint,mild widening and oedema in the C5 C6 intervertebral disc space.. physiotherapy says it's brachial plexus injury...his left hand is partially paralysed,means he has finger movement ...he is not able to lift his elbow and partial shoulder movement is there...can my father get his left hand functioning...if so,how much time it will take...his age is 68 years...pls help me sir/ mam...

Has Nerve conduction test been done ? Most important thing for recovery is physiotherapy. Time to recovery depends on many things especially the severity of injury. So it is difficult to say exactly how much time it will take.
