X rays tell us about bone alignment and some assessment of muscle stiffness and disc space. MRI gives more accurate information regarding nerve compression

X ray is mainly useful for detecting bone problems. From your query it seems like weakness is your main symptom. Depending on the details you could be suffering from nerve or cord compression, or myopathy/ myositis or fibromyalgia etc. You should consult a Rheumatologist for a detailed history followed by relevant investigations. Doing random investigations without going into details of symptoms will not help much.
