Cervical Cerclage
I am 15 weeks pregnant, NT NB scans are done. In the report, cervix length is 27 mm and risk for spontaneous delivery is reported as 1 in 21. My doctor has recommended cervical cerclage procedure. Shall I take second opinion/ultrasound before the procedure, wait up to 20 weeks for level 2 USG (anomaly scans) before cerclage procedure or go for it right away? Pls help.

You can taje a second usg opinion if you want and also get physical examination done by your gynaec to correlate and if your cervical length is less than you should opt for cercalage. At around 16-18 wk which is safe time
