Cause for Heel pain
My sister's heels hurt and get swollen, it been there for more than 2 years , what's the cause She has been to orthopedic doctors but they just gave her medicine and didn't explain the cause or anything, so which type of doctor should she visit now , ortho, physcian or whom ?

Heel pain can be due to plantar fasciitis. It is swelling of a tissue in the heel due to various causes. You need to visit ortho/ sports medicine/ pmr doctors.
Next Steps
Further evaluation required to make a diagnosis but for now you can use silicone insole in sports shoes only ( no other kind of shoes should be wear) and start plantar fascia stretching along with contrast bath (heat and cold alternative 4:1 ratio)
