Cataract surgery
My dad needs a cataract surgery, how safe is it to get it done now during Covid19 situation? Will necessary precautions be taken in the OT?

Hi... Do all the required tests as suggested by your eye doctor.. Go to a place where they are taking all precautions and you are comfortable. Please go ahead with surgery ..no point waiting ...there is no end point with Corona...we will hv to take precautions n move  ahead. Take decision depending on cataract, not Corona.

Every Ophthalmologist is taking all possible precautions while performing cataract surgery. So be rest assured. But if the cataract isn't very hard and the surgery can be avoided for next few months, it can be postponed.
