Cataract surgery issue
My mother had gone through cataract surgery of her right eye in sankara netralaya. After surgery the vision is perfectly fine. But she is feeling that something is there in her eye corner. Please suggest what to do. I got the below response from Dr. Vaibhev Mittal Hello This could be due to meibomitis This is very common after surgery Try A. Hot fomentation B. Lid massage C. Apply azithral ointment locally over lid margins D..Use lubricating eyedrop frequently like refresh tears This will help you Already my mother is using the above option D.i.e refresh tears. Could you please explain in details of the above options. Do we need to apply all the above option or any one is fine? and how much duration it will take to get cured. Will it be cured or not? How many days it will take to resolve the issue.?

U need to do all of the above for a couple of weeks. Don't worry it is not a very serious condition and will resolve with medication.
