Cant pass stools after gallbladder surge
My mother got her gallbladder removal surgery on last friday but she can't pass stools from that day Even after taking medicine pouch yesterday she cant be able to pass stools please help

Hi..it could be constipation associated with the antibiotics and selective food eating .. please add roughages,fibers in her diet.. rest assured it has nothing to do with your cholecystectomy surgery..

Ask her to take plenty of fluids, and a less spicy diet.... continue the laxatives.. Usually this happens in the immediate post operative period and will be alright soon.
Next Steps
Consult her Surgeon who has operated...if the constipation persists...
