I have been diagnosed with gallbladder sludge after one episode of sharp pain over a week before. I have been taking udiliv as prescribed by doctor.
Should i go for gallbladder surgery or wait if it resolves with medicine.

Surgery is needed since sludge too can cause blockage of bile duct leading to jaundice, also lead to damage to pancreatic duct resulting in pancreatitis. Tab. Udiliv in no way solves the problem

Gall bladder sludge are nothing but small micro calculus..they can block the pancreatic opening and can cause pancreatitis in future ..so , it’s recommended to undergo the surgery
