Started Nexito and Quitipine 50 based on the symptoms attached from March 2025.Outstanding results with quitipin, but cannot sleep without iy right now. Concerned psychiatrist left India and my life is in doldrums. Took consultations from multiple psychiatrist on Practo, meds got add on but main concern any alternate to quitipin for sleep without the potential side effects.I cannot sleep without quitipine, shall i reduce the dose or any other meds. Help me out pls. Regards.

As per my opinion, there is no need to bother too much as dose of Quetiapine is optimum and is not such that, that can cause side effect. 50 mg is low dose often used for disturbed sleep. If an individual want to taper it and use other alternative as zolpidem melatonin combination or Benzodiapines as Clonazepam or lorazepam, it is advisable under guidance.If an individual try to taper dose on his own, sleep will be disturbed, symptoms that you have mentioned in image can relapse. So do not think too much , 50 mg is not high dose, it's has no addictive potential, So you should continue it or cross taper with other medications under supervision of a doctor

No doubt quetiapine is a wonderful medicine and good thing is medicine can be easily stopped and you can get rid of your symptoms also and can live a satisfactory life that too medicine free in some time
Apart from this, further history is required to see the various prescription and medicines to bring down the medicines
