Hello Doctor,
I am having recurring canker sores since 10 days on my bottom lip and under tongue area. One grows after another. They are making it difficult for me to eat, drink or even talk. I am applying orasore gel but it only provides temporary relief. I am taking becosule vit b complex with zinc capsule since 3 days. But not much improvement. My stools are fine and daily. My work schedule is such that I have to eat spicy outside food regularly so that's why the sores are aggravating. Is there any quick treatment method. Please advise

Hello,Sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS), a common toothpaste ingredient, can also cause canker sores. SLS is a soft tissue irritant found in shampoos, soaps, and cleaning supplies. Because it causes foaming when we wash our teeth, companies utilise it in toothpaste.
It can be due to Vitamin C deficiency.
Next Steps
Please check your toothpaste label for SLS. and start Using SLS free toothpaste.
Health Tips
Keep applying the gel and avoid spicy food for few days it'll help the sores to heal.
Meanwhile you can start taking some fruits containing Vitamin C like Oranges, mosambi and pineapple on a daily basis otherwise you can start with the Vitamin C supplement
