Can vanproz RD cause cause black stool?
I was diagnosed with gastritis so was given vanproz RD . but after taking vanproz RD my stool started to become black(sometimes powdry , but mostly semi solid pieces ) . I don't have any pain now , infact my symptoms reduced after taking the medication. This medicine were gives after a gastro check up by doctor which involved abdominal scan , endoscope , blood test , urine test , ECG and X-ray .

It is not related to the medicine. On the contrary it may be because of Gastritis itself.
Or it may be related to some Dietery changes
