HI THERE black stools point towards you having a gastric ulcer which might have mild to moderate amount of bleeding which comes out as black stools . it is very important that you avoid spicy food at any cost and also continue to take pan 40 mg twice a day before food. consume a bland diet, avoid tea coffee, carbonated drinks, alcohol, smoking. at this juncture an upper gi endoscopy to know the severity of the ulcer is useful and a visit to the gastroenterologist is rewarding. if the number of black stools increase and if you ever feel dizzy immediately consult the doctor.
Next Steps
upper gi endoscopy
Health Tips
if you have already been diagnosed of having h pylori you should have been started on tripple therapy
