Psychological therapy is recognised as an effective treatment for reducing the frequency and intensity of OCD symptoms. One of the most popular and effective forms of behaviour therapy for OCD is exposure and response prevention (ERP). ERP involves exposing you to the anxiety that is provoked by your obsessions and then preventing the use of rituals to reduce your anxiety. This cycle of exposure and response prevention is repeated until you are no longer troubled by your obsessions and/or compulsions. Cognitive and behavioral therapies appear to be even more effective than medications in both adults and children with OCD. You can consult me online for psychotherapy.

Focus on effects rather side effects. OCD becomes a disorder when you start relaying on it or start identifying with it. Take medicines without the fear of side effects enough patient of OC with very mild side effects like constipation or mild sedation which can be over come by drinking lemon water or coffee or warm milk etc. Medicine , therapy and focus on your abilities. Think what you are great at. it is curable.
