Can't sleep
I have been facing sleeping problems for more than a year now. I thought it will go away in sometime but I can't overcome it.

Sleep is very important for our physical and mental health. Do you suffer from any medical illness that is affecting your sleep like any pain, any problems with breathing, any problems with heart? Some medications which you take for physical health issues may affect your sleep or you on any medications? Do have any h/o of mental health problems? Do you misuse drugs or alcohol? Is falling asleep is a problem? Is your sleep broken ? Are you waking up early in morning? If you can point out which of the above fits your sleep problem then we treat accordingly Depression, anxiety are one of the common causes for sleep disturbance.

Sleep problem is a symptom and is secondary to a problem in majority of cases. Hence it is important to know the reason for having sleep issue. It could be due to life style  issues, stress, anxiety , depression , chronic pain, that way a lot of causes. It is important to get a consultation to understand the problem in detail. Simply taking sleep tablets is not advisable as you can become addicted to those and in long term that itself will become a problem
