Please share details of your symptoms and test results.  Rats do not transmit rabies and there would have been hydrophobia, in case of rabies  so do not be anxious about it.

Rats and other Rodents are rarely found to be infected with rabies and are not known to transmit the disease to humans.

Dear patient, I understand you're feeling worried. But please don’t worry about rabies—rats do not carry or spread rabies to humans. Your symptoms are more likely from the illness you’re already being treated for, like jaundice, or from stress and tiredness. Feeling dizzy or strange in the head can happen when you’re sick or anxious. Keep taking your medicines, rest well, and try to stay calm. If anything gets worse, come see me. You're doing okay."
