My son is having heavy cold and having congested nose.Doctor suggested phenergan and monocef.Can phenergan be given for 9 month old baby?

Hello. Ideally, Phenargan should be avoided. Even monocef is an antibiotic which is routinely not advised for normal cold unless there is some focus of infection or ongoing high fever . Please get him examined properly for better management.
