Can only breath through one nostril.
I breathe through both nostrils, but one at a time. When I lie down my nostrils switch to which ever one faces upward the closest. I also can only blow my nose through both nostrils, yet it depends on which one is "open."

Unilateral intermittent nasal obstruction can occur because of deviated nasal septum, allergic rhinitis, chronic rhinosinusitis, hypertrophy of turbinate etc. Treatment depends on diagnosis. For diagnosis clinical examination is mandatory
