Can Oflomac-M be given to a 6 month baby
Hi Doctor, My daughter is 6 months old. After 5 to 7 times of watery stools we took her to a doctor. He prescribed Oflomac-M for 3 days. I heard these have severe side effects. Considering the age of my baby(6 months), is it recommended to use Oomac-M

Should be avoided as most of the diarrhea is due to some viral cause so wouldn't be of much help

Antibiotics are not needed in majority of diarrhea, supportive management is enough.
