Rush to dental clinic Go for xray. Take antibiotic coverage depending upon xray. Gumpaint won’t help .

Hello, Yes you can but not without proper examination.. As you have restarted your RCT procedure then if abscess is with same tooth it will resolve.. As you say you have problem eating, drinking then go on soft diet, not eat or drink hot stuffs, not use hot pack for pain relief apply ice pack from outside, avoid sleeping from that side .

Do not use it directly without knowing what exactly the issue is. Kindly check with your dentist with whom you have restarted treatment since thy know your health better. Theyd be able to give you something that helps canker sores heal fast. If it's a lockdown,  a teleconsultation may help to diagnose if it's a canker sore. A sore should heal in 2 weeks, if it doesnt, it should be shown to your dentist.
Health Tips
Rinsing with salt in lukewarm water after every meal would help. Apply an ice pack on the outside of the cheek to help your pain. Avoid hot cold, spicy  acidic and sweet foods. a soft and slightly bland diet would help you heal faster. And stay hydrated.
