My advice is strictly give home made.
There is no need to give any medicine if he is comfortable.
You can start giving him rice kangi, dal water, suji halwa, fruit pulp or juice, vegetable soup, mashed potatoe and of course water too. Try one food item at a time, give it for a week, then introduce another item. Increase the consistency of food gradually as the child starts sitting, give semisolids gradually.
Your duty is to make the child taste the food. Let the baby make his own choices and you will find that the child will enjoy having food.
