Can heart patient use Dexona tablet?
My mother-in-law is suffering with fever,cough and cold. We are predicting that whether there is a chance of covid positive. So please let me know whether she can use Dexona tablet if covid results positive.

I wonder who has suggested you that dexona is used to treat covid patients
Methylprednisolone intravenous is used in covid patients to reduce the inflammatory state
Rtpcr will confirm the covid status
Ct chest might be required

You should get Covid test and show to physician
Dexona is not the only treatment
If she comes positive she will require more medications

She can use dexona but in exceptional cases as it is not safe for cardiac patients.
And anyway COVID treatment doesn’t needs dexona until patient is in very sick and a doctor prescribed it
