Can Gynecology Help Identify the Cause?
My mother is 44 years old and has is experiencing significant changes in her body since one and half year. Heavy menstrual bleeding, periods lasting about 4 days, Uses around 5 large pads a day, developed high blood pressure, Severe mood swings, excessive sweating & extreme fatigue. And during this period from last 6 months, she has been experiencing daily dissociative seizures which neurologist evaluated. Her Brain CT scan and EEG were normal. She is currently on medications to calm her nervous system and sleeping medication but still no improvement as she is still having seizures despite these medication. Havent visited any gynecologist till date. So Before proceeding further, i wanted to explore gynecology angle behind her sudden suffering. Could these symptoms be related to perimenopause or hormonal changes? Should we consult a gynecologist and get a hormonal evaluation? Could gynecological treatment help with her overall condition? any guidance would be great.
