If he has tooth pain the tooth should be treated for a more permanent solution. Prolonged use of any antibiotic gel is not recommended

It’s probably safe to use this gel with patient having any kidney problems. You should better consult with your physician before applying. But you can apply it if the tooth pain is unbearable & there are no other options available.
