Can braces + implant be done together?
I've attached my x-rays. My concern is my doctor is suggesting implant (for lower left teeth with roots) + braces both together is it correct? and do I need any extraction?

Take a second opinion from a experienced prosthodontist to know about options regarding tooth it might be saved n later on implant can be placed, if required However your upper right molar also requires attention

Hello Looks like the tooth can be saved with rct if clinically well Go for it and then braces cap on it or implant and all later can be done Since space closure might happen during braces also

Hello The first molar on the lower left side is totally decayed and only the roots are retained. If you want to save this teeth a root canal treatment with post and core can be attempted seeing all other factors into consideration after a thorough clinical examination. If you want to get it extracted it has to be replaced as it plays a major role in chewing. The root canal treated tooth in upper right side first molar shows slight infection. If there is no complaint with that like pain etc it can be left. Other than that the third molar on lower right is not completely errupted. It might give you pain in the near future and can be extracted once the tooth has complaints. It is always better to get a slow treatment done. Your tooth's show crowding with upper anterior pproclination might require extraction of first premolars ( only after a checkup) If suggested by the orthodontist based on the model analysis. If you are planning for implants the first molar has to undergo extraction first. Kindly visit a dentist for a proper plan.

You can finish rct and cap for that tooth if no vertical  fracture is there in that tooth...braces sooner the better ...implant my be postponed..not now urgency tooth can be saved and braces can be proceeded...your ortho extraction need further evaluation ..meet specialist in person
