Can 2 antibiotics given together
Hi my daughter is suffering from congestion and high- fever,I have given her azithral,Ambroildal S,crocin.Today morning she started loose motions. Can I give her Normet in addition to the medicines, I am giving her?

What is her age? Her symptoms could be due to viral infection. In that case antibiotics are not the answer. Loose stool can be associated in viral upper respiratory tract infection as well. Only symptomatic management is required. Please dont start Normet. Never give any antibiotic over the counter for a child without showing a pediatrician.

It could be viral thing Stop antibiotics and take consultation Give probiotics and symptomatic Mix 200ml of water with 1 sachet of ORS, and sips as tolerated. things to follow 1. Give home food. No spicy, oily or junk food. 2. Avoid outside food intake 3. No snacks (packaged, high sugar/salt content) 4. Keep a watch on any signs of dehydration(less urine output,blood in stool,fever,child is dull)
