24 year old male. No sig. Med. History. Last November I found a hard node in my right inguinal canal just lateral to my scrotum. Went in for a pelvic limited US, report came back with no testicular lesions, but a calcified focus in the R inguinal canal with posterior shadowing. 6x3mm. They suggested no further follow up and declared it a remnant of infection. I don’t have any history of STI, and since then I’ve had other node problems. Should I be concerned about this node? What causes this?

The size is small, it is calcified and not suspicious on ultrasound. Nothing needs to be be done. If, in case, it increases in size you may get it reviewed again.
