My mum 64 is post menopausal and was having stomach cramps, was suggested a stomach usg , the results show endometrial thickness, have attached the report, does the usg result mean she has edometrial cancer
Your report doesn't show the features that usually point to cancer: the endometrial lining has no focal lesion, the surrounding halo is well maintained, and there's no abnormal blood flow. What it does show is a thickened lining along with a few fibroids, which is common at your age and doesn't by itself mean cancer.
Next Steps
Because you're past menopause, this thickness usually needs a gynaecologist to look at the full picture, and they may suggest sampling the lining to be fully sure. Please take this report to a gynaecologist along with your stomach-cramp history.
Health Tips
See a doctor sooner if you notice any vaginal bleeding or spotting, since that needs prompt evaluation.
