Had c-section and tubectomy on same day two months back. Doctor advised to avoid intercourse for three months and other doctor asked to wait for five months. Please let me know when is it safe?

I think an abstinence of two months is sufficient. The logic is that all your pelvic organs should have come back to the pre pregnancy size and there should be no abnormal vaginal discharge.

You can have intercourse. Still there are chances of failure of the procedure and chance of becoming pregnant is 1 in 200 . So consult the gynecologist if you miss your periods
