Appears like a fungal infection.Apply terbinafine cream twice daily for a few days,if not relieved consult a dermatologist in your area for appropriate treatment
-This looks more like fungal/intertrigo-related irritation due to sweat and friction in summer
-Dettol soap may further irritate and dry the skin, so it is better to avoid regular use there
Next Steps
-Avoid Panderm+/Quadriderm as steroid-mixed creams can worsen fungal infection
-Apply Clotrimazole 1% cream twice daily for 2–3 weeks
-Use antifungal dusting powder to keep area dry
-Wear loose cotton underwear and keep the area dry after sweating
Health Tips
-Avoid scratching and tight clothing
-Seek dermatologist review if rash spreads, pain/discharge develops, or itching persists despite treatment
-Contact me anytime on Practo for further consultation
Fungal infection???
Terbinafine 200 two times after food for 3 weeks.
Terbinafine cream locally apply after cleaning two times.
Flucos powder after ointment to keep the part dry.
YET BETTER TO CONSULT SUPERSPECIALIST LIKE DERMATOLOGIST/HOMEOPATHY
This looks more like irritation fungal involvement in the skin folds, which is quite common in summer and usually manageable, but it’s better to avoid self applying combination creams without proper evaluation a consultation can help confirm the exact cause and guide the right treatment safely 👍
The intense itching you are experiencing, especially during the summer and at night, is a classic sign of a fungal infection known as Tinea Cruris (Jock Itch). Fungi thrive in warm, moist areas like the buttock lining. Using harsh antiseptic soaps like Dettol on sensitive skin often strips away natural protective oils and changes the pH balance, which actually makes it easier for the fungus to grow and causes further irritation and dryness."
Next Steps
Discontinue Dettol Soap: "Stop using Dettol or any medicated/antiseptic soap in the affected area immediately. Switch to a mild, fragrance-free moisturizing cleanser or just plain lukewarm water."
Avoid Steroid Creams: "Do NOT apply Panderm+ or Quadriderm. These contain strong steroids that provide temporary relief but actually feed the fungus, leading to a much more severe and 'resistant' infection later on."
