Continuous burping along with loose stools for 3–4 days at her age usually points toward acute gastritis, indigestion, or a mild gut infection. It’s generally not dangerous, but in people above 60 we need to be a bit more careful because: • Dehydration can happen quickly • Electrolytes may drop • Burping can sometimes be a sign of acid imbalance or delayed gastric emptying • Age-related digestion slows down Right now, focus on: • Hydration (small sips frequently) • Light, non-spicy food • Avoid tea/coffee/milk for 24–48 hours • Monitor whether the loose stools reduce by tomorrow If symptoms persist for more than 48 hours, worsen, or if she develops: severe stomach pain vomiting dizziness weakness then she definitely needs personalised evaluation because in older adults, even a simple gut infection can behave unpredictably. If you want, I can review her symptoms in detail and guide you step-by-step on what to do next, what tests (if any) are needed, and how to stabilise her quickly. Just book a private consult with me on whatsapp at nine three two six zero two zero five three six,  so I can go through everything properly and give you a clear plan.

The combination of continuous burping, loose stools, and stomach ache for the last few days suggests acute gastritis with intestinal irritation. This can happen due to: • Mild stomach infection • Food contamination • Change in food/water • Excess gas production • Acidity flare • Stress or poor sleep • Irregular eating • Heavy/oily/spicy meals The symptoms are not dangerous, but they are uncomfortable and need proper treatment.
Next Steps
Treatment Plan 1. For Burping & Acidity Pantoprazole 40 mg (Pan 40 / Pantocid 40) • Once daily in the morning, empty stomach, for 5–7 days. Domperidone 10 mg • Once daily before breakfast for 3–5 days Helps reduce gas, burping, and stomach bloating. 2. For Loose Motions ORS (Oral Rehydration Solution) • Small sips frequently to prevent dehydration. Racecadotril (100 mg) • Three times a day, before meals Helps control loose motions safely. Probiotic • Econorm sachet or Vizylac / Darolac • 1 sachet/capsule twice daily for 3 days Restores the gut and stops loose stools quicker. 3. For Stomach Pain Hyoscine (Buscopan 10 mg) • 1 tablet, up to 3 times a day if needed Reduces cramping-type pain.
Health Tips
When to Consult a Doctor Urgently If any of these happen: • Loose stools > 5–6 times/day for 2 days • Dehydration, dizziness • High fever • Blood in stool • Severe vomiting But usually, with the above treatment, symptoms improve within 24–48 hours.
