Burning sensation in hands
This burning sensation is from shoulder to  hands, not all the day but when lying down the burning sensation in hands start slow and keep on increasing for some time and then go,mostly it happens at night. So it disturbs his sleep . But if he wakes up and sit the burning in hands stop and goes. Don't know what is the reason behind it. And he also complains of numbness in things some time.

Possiblities can be  spinal cord compressing the nerves near the neck( cervical ) or due to rise in blood sugars. Avoid pillow n try a rolled towel under the neck with sleeping on a straight hard surface.
