Bulky Uterus with Fibroid
I have bulky Uterus with Fibroid. The size of my fibroid as per the USG report is 50x45mm along the posterior wall of Uterus. I have problem of heavy periods with clots. Recently I have also gained weight & I feel my stomach loose & hanging. Could it be due to the fibroid?? My doctor has prescribed me Fibroease 25mg daily for 3 months. Is it safe to take this medication?? Also, can I continue to go to gym & do my normal workouts?? Please Advise. Regards & Thank you in Advance 🙏🙏

You are 42 years old. It is safe to presume that you have the required number of children and pregnancy is not an issue for you . If that be so you should go for a hysterectomy rather than having many Investigations, prolonged treatment and regular follow up. They are all more expensive and time consuming than going for a hysterectomy. You can consult me on Practo for any further clarification.

The weight gain and loose  hanging stomach is not because of the fibroid you can definitely continue going to the gym and do normal work out
