29 years is pretty young age. And if you keep wasting your valuable time in having so many opinion, you are loosing the chance of getting maximum vision back with injections. There's no treatment other than prescribed by an Ophthalmologist.
Next Steps

As i see your age is 29. High blood pressure at this age is a matter of concern.. i am sure your physician must have ruled out secondary hypertension and retina doctors must have advised some blood tests..
You need to just go ahead what your retina doctors have told you..
Currently ,No oral therapy will work of retinal swelling brvo has caused
Next Steps
dont waste precious time.. act quick for better visual outcome
Oral medication will help only for your blood pressure, for BRVO you need to take local medication in the form of injection.
Do not worry if done properly with all precautions, injections are safe and effective.
Next Steps
As high blood pressure at this age is not usual, you need to get investigated to find out why it is so high.
Everyone has given you the correct advice. Injection is the only treatment which may have to be repeated after one month.
Strict BP control has to be followed without fail.
Yes it is !
Injections are expensive but effective way of treating BRVO
on the brighter side effects of anti VEGF injections are
Very good in recent cases of BRVO .
