Bruise feeling with no bruise

Asked for Female, 37 Years

Should I be concerned about a blood clot? I have pain in the back area of my right thigh, just above my knee but closer to the outside. It hurts to touch and feels like a bruise but there is nothing visible. I have no swelling. I also have muscle pain in my right calf but hiked on Saturday so I'm attributing it to that.
