Bronchiectasis.
My mother is suffering from high fever (103)from last week. it is not reduced even taking antibiotic injection twice a day.today in ct scan we got to know she is having Bronchiectasis. please answer whether it is emergency or not and also please suggest further treatment.

What is your mother's age.Does she have any co morbidities.proper history is necessary. What is the cause of bronchiectasis, not mentioned.Brochiectasis is chronic.if fever is persisting,sputum has to be examined,,and culture and sensitivity for the proper antibiotics  is necessary. Pl consult Pulmonologist online with all the reports and treatment taken .
