Bright red itchy circle on healing wound
I have 3 small healing wounds from a dog bite. It’s been 2 months since incident, DT shot, antibiotics & a month since stitches were removed. No inflammation or discharge but I’ve developed circular red rashes on each of the puncture sites. Itching has progressively gotten worse after stitch removal. Generally leave it open and dry, started using neosporin oint. on wounds & cortisone 10 on surrounding normal skin but no signs of improvement, itching soothed temporarily
