Hi Dr. I'm 14 days postpartum. My brestmilk supply hasn't increased much . Even after long feeds my baby isn't full  Had to give formula milk which im hoping not needed .I'm taking galakol tablet and galact granules in milk . What should I do to increase the amount. Plz help .

Pump your breasts for 40 min (20 min each breast) more than 8 times a day...This will improve milk supply. Buy a correct size pump

Feed every 2–3 hours (8–12 times/day) Ensure proper latch (baby takes areola, not just nipple) Allow baby to empty one breast completely before switching Night feeds are very important (prolactin is higher)
