First see a chest physician to rule out organic causes of ur breathlessness, maybe smoking is harming ur lungs. Chronic alcoholism and nicotine addiction can lead to anxiety disorder and depression. For that consult a psychiatrist for proper deaddiction and treatment of psychological problems associated with addiction.

You can be helped through psychological therapy and medications done side by side. You physical problems could be due to withdrawals/anxiety and medications side effects. It’s difficult to tell without looking into your treatment. You can get help from a psychiatrist who also counsels patients.

First of all I must congratulate you for quitting Nicotine and Alcohol.... Symptoms that you are describing seem to be anxiety and withdrawal.....it is common to have these....in some persons they may appear in phases but eventually they subside and stop. If they persist discuss with your psychiatrist and s/he will help you cope with this issue.
