Hi Doctor, My mother is 44 year old she is not able to breath from Nose. Always she uses her mouth to breath. This problem was there for her from childhood and she always used to breath from her mouth but recently she is facing too much of breathing issues. Please suggest something for her

Obstruction in nose can be due to many reasons most common among them are 1. Deviated nasal septum 2. Nasal polyposis 3. Nasal mass 4. Allergic rhinitis etc To diagnose cause of nasal obstruction complete examination of nose is required Nasal endoscopy or CT SCAN also may be required Treatment depends on diagnosis of cause of nose block Consult nearby ENT specialist for more help
