Breathing issues but all tests ok
I have been having continuous breathing problems for 1 year now. Unable to fill lungs with air with satisfaction. Takes a few tries to do so. No extra breathing problems due to any physical activity. I can light jog 5km on treadmill with no extra problems. I have chronic Acidity and acid reflux which is controlled by medication. Also consistent cough with dry mucus, increases decreases sometimes. I have done chest xray, ct scan, pft, blood tests, ecg, 2d echo, upper gi endoscopy and all reports are normal. 2 Pulmonologists have ruled out allergy issues. What could be the problem?

To increase your lung capacity you need to do some breathing exercises on a regular basis. 1. Buy a spirometer (easily available in all the medical stores and even online) and try to lift the balls and hold it. ( Can search on youtube for instructions to use it ) 2. Do anulomvilom and pranayama on a regular basis. 3. Stop smoking if you do. 4. Maintain proper life style. Drink plenty of water. 3 litres per day. Avoid spicy and oily food. Avoid over eating Avoid alcohol Avoid tobacco and pan masala. Don't eat and lie down keep atleast 2 hours of gap. Have green leafy vegetables and fruits. Add probiotics to your diet.
