Breastfeeding by mom on thyroid meds
I underwent total thyroidectomy in 2022 after having PTC , I underwent radiotherapy and am on thyroid meds thyrox 150 . Can I breastfeed my son who is 3 month old? Is it safe for him

It is very safe to continue thyroid meds during breast feeding,
Especially thyrox/eltroxin
Mothers on a Few strong medicines like PTU etc are told to avoid, but thyrox is safe
