Breast Pain. And cause this infection?

I have needle like pain in my one side breast from today morning, but pain is not occuring in continous manner.No other symptoms in nipple or breast other than this pain. I have 2 months old baby, she has latching issue, so i self tried using electric breast pump in that same one breast alone day before yesterday..That was the first time i used breast pump.. Is this breast pain because of new usage of breast pump or is there could be reason for infection from that breast pump.That breast pump is second hand one...is there any chance for bacteria from that pump to enter my breast while pumping and cause this infection? If it is breast infection, is that sonething to worry about or can be cured easily with doctor consultation.. I am so much worried, pls suggest.
