Hi I am Thejeswar. I am a medical and hematooncolodist. Breastfeeding can have a protective effect against breast cancer. Research suggests that the longer a woman breastfeeds, the greater the reduction in her risk of developing breast cancer. However, it’s important to remember that breastfeeding alone cannot guarantee the prevention of breast cancer. Regular screenings, such as mammograms, and other risk-reducing measures, like a healthy lifestyle, are also crucial in maintaining breast health.
