Its ok to remove part of breast also many times. Almost all times, patient should get radiation after removing part of breast. But it should be decided based on tumor extent , size , IHC status etc. It depends on many factors. It depends on size , and of the lesion and.response to chemotherapy if it's a larger lesion. Bland diet can be followed with less spices after.surgery. if part of breast only removed radiation to chest wall is needed. If total breast is removed radiation is given if lymphnodes are positive or if size is more than or equal to 5 cm at presentation
