Hello Dr,
I had insufficient milk and started with powdered milk for twin babies..I now have sufficient milk however even after giving breast milk babies won't sleep or stop crying until bottle milk is fed..please suggest on how powdered milk can be avoided..

First you have to stop bottle...
As nipple of bottle is very soft and dont requires too much sucking efforts so baby loves to suck....whike in Breastfeeding baby have to put efforts to suck..
And also bottle nipple cause false belief of nipple which confuse baby for sucking....
Next Steps
stop bottle so baby will gradually accept BF well...
but patience requires from mother...

Formula milk has high fat content then breast milk, so baby sleep after formula milk while breast milk gets easily digested, so babies demand more milk.
