My grandfather had a stroke few days back due to which he lost his vision in right eye. He is 86 years old and now his situation is serious. Doctor told us that there is no point in admitting him to hospital now. From yesterday he is not even able to eat anything not even in liquid. Everyone is hopeless. Is there anything we can do so that he is not dehydrated or starving? Someone said that if we give glucose via arteries, then he might suffer paralytic attack. Is it true? If so, please provide some alternatives ASAP.
He is also a diabetic Patient.
